Great! you got a job and wana settle now with your family in Dubai. The process is simple and easy for all.
before that make sure your visa has been stamped and you got your emirates id.
The process might be same for other countries but you might need to submit different documents as per requirements. let me explain here the process and documents for Pakistani resident
You can process these visa in normal , urgent or VIP. The time period and fee will be different for each process.
Documents you need to apply family visa
Before you apply for the visa make sure you have all required document and attestation from concern departments of Pakistan and UAE.
- Passport with minimum validity (3/6 months)
- Marriage certificate from Pakistan in English (attested from MOFA - Pakistan and UAE Embassy Pakistan and also attested from MOFA - UAE )
- Marriage certificate Translation in Arabic (you can do here in UAE from any legal firm or typing centers)
- Pakistani CNIC or NICOP of your wife and off course you also have same
- If you have kids then you also need
- Pakistani CNIC or NICOP for kids under 18(visit NADRA office)
- Birth certificate of you child from NADARA (attested from MOFA - Pakistan and UAE Embassy Pakistan and also attested from MOFA - UAE)
- Birth certificate translation in Arabic (check with PRO, typing center or any legal firm in UAE)
- Valid Passport
- Your Labour contract from ministry of labour (check with your PRO)
- Attested tenancy contract and a valid utility bill or slip of your new contract for the room/flat/villa
- Salary certificate and NOC are optional
- Your Emirates ID , passport and visa copy or original one
All these documents are need to bring the tasheel dubai office original or colored copy (not sure if they accept) to apply visa for your family
The system is online now so you can apply your self by visiting any Tasheel office or the PRO from you company can do on your behalf.
Process
The Process is very simple and straight forward
Visit any tasheel office in dubai or other emirates with all the documents.
They will process all the documents and you will get SMS/Mail notification once you get the entry permit
once you get the entry permit you can call your family here and then later you need to apply visa stamping on their passport. Also issue the Emirates ID
They can apply Emirates ID at same time but emirates id will issue later after visa stamping
Visa Stamping
There will be 60 days time period after getting the entry permit for visa stamping (not sure 60 days after entry permit or after entering into the Emirate. Please let me know in commit)
Once they arrive here you need to perform medical test of the family member above 18. In medical test they will do Blood Test, X-Ray and may be covid-19 test
For pregnant women they might ask not to take X-ray and may ask some other reports in Medical center.
The medical test application can be done from any Tasheel office Dubai and then you need to visit Medical center for medical test.
There are different options available for Medical test like urgent and normal. Check with Tasheel office and PRO as well for this. usually the results update in visa system automatically otherwise you might get by mail and re-visit tasheel to update the report.
Also visit Emirates ID office for finger print scanning and picture (finger prints are only for adults )
Once all these done courier will collect the passport and forms from you and you will receive from them after few days
Emirates ID will be available on Emirates post you or PRO can collect them by showing Emirates ID registration form.
You can check the status on GDRFA website or mobile application by using application Number written on your application forms
This visa valid for 2 years and some cases 3 years (for free zones). You have to renew when it expired. there will be 1 month grace period after expiration of these visa's and there will be fine after that for each day (250 or 100 for first day and 25 for each day onwards) for each visa.
