Pakistani passport renewal in Dubai United Arab Emirates

The facility of renewal of Pakistani passport is available in United Arab Emirates Dubai consulate of Pakistan and consulate general of Pakistan Abu Dhabi.

Pakistani passport renewal Online

The Pakistani passport renewal can be done by using online services as well using the website https://onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/
Registration require if you are using this option and it is only for Pakistani passport renewal online you can not apply for new passport. Also you need a printer and scanner with you if you want to use this option. Payment can be done by credit or debit card.

Pakistani passport renewal in Dubai Consulate

If you want to do the renewal of your Pakistani passport  in Dubai United Arab Emirates.
You can go to Pakistani Consulate in Bur-Dubai Khaleed bin waleed road near Burjuman Shopping Mall .

Validity of passport before renewal

According to the service desk clerk you can renew the passport when the validity is 3 months or less. some said it can be renew with 6 months validity as well. if you have any information about that please share it in comments.




The required documents are:

For the renewal of Pakistani passport in United Arab Emirates please bring

-Your Original Passport.
-Your Original CNIC or NICOP.
-Copies of your passport, Visa and CNIC.

earlier they were taking mobile phone inside not allowed but now a days no restriction

Better to reach there around 7 AM to get the token No. they are issuing only 350 tokens per day.
If you are with family then they will issue different Token No
initial 100 numbers given to ladies/family.

once you get the number wait there

when they call your number go inside and pay the money for renewal (he might ask to see your original passport or CNIC / NICOP).



Pakistani Passport renewal Fee 

The Pakistani passport renewal fee details is below. Please update in case of any changes in passport renewal fee

5 year expiry

151 AED for normal process ( around 20/25 days)
251 AED for urgent process around 7/10 days.

10 year expiry has almost double fee


Now go inside the room and wait there. they will call you for photo and finger print.

then go another room there you can review your information on paper and sign on it.


on counter 5 / room 5 they will take these papers and now you are free to go.


you can collect your passport after mentioned time on the slip
OR
The optional step is TCS courier service(counter 10) where they will take your old passport and slip and some charges 30 to 40AED (based on your location which could be Dubai, Sharjah , Ajman or other emirates of United Arab Emirates) so they will send your passport to your destination.

What if you lost your passport

You can not apply online if you lost your passport you have to visit the consulate in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. They might asked for Police report

Dubai Police report can be get via online Dubai police application or visiting the police station but as i know the fee using Dubai police mobile app or website is lower compare to visiting dubai police station.

If you are staying/working in other State you may visit your nearest police station but please confirm with Pakistani consulate what document require 

Transportation options

You can use RTA public buses which drop you near by area or you can take Dubai metro and from Burjuman metro station you can walk for 10/15 minutes or take a taxi. Location map has been given in below.
