Camping, bar be que , stay in sea side and desert are the famous activities across the emirates, let's get ready with those skewers and coal to fire up the grill and make and taste those delicious  barbeque treats with your family, friends. These are some famous and good public places for barbque in Emirates of Abu Dhabi.

OUTDOOR PICNIC AND BBQ SPOTS IN ABU DHABI EMIRATE

These six public BBQ places in emirates of Abu Dhabi with dedicated barbeque pits installed and ready to use, these are the six public spots for a barbecue in Abu Dhabi that you can visit. 

 KHALIFA PARK

Khalifa Park is one of the famous spots for a barbecue in Abu Dhabi

Khalifa Park is the good place for for  barbecue in Abu Dhabi Emirate. It was  opened its doors for public in 2007. A great green area for visitors to enjoy with their family/friends. Have a relaxing picnic and attractions. 

 There is a riding train for kids just AED 3. Dedicated spots for Barbeque and some other activities such as such as the Cultural Library, Maritime Museum and the Murjan Splash Park .

The entry fee is 2 AED for each person, while the other activates are also paid like Maritime Museum is 5 AED, Splash park 50 AED for each person including kids.

A library is also near by where you can see a huge collection of books for adults and kids. Visit the Kids area inside library hope the kids will enjoy that as well.

 LAKE PARK 

a free barbeque places near the corniche in Abu Dhabi. Go to the  Lake Park. You will find  dedicated BBQ areas,  a lake with  fountain and a nice wooden footbridge, you can capture some photo with nice green background. Kids can play in open and green area and adults can enjoy the barbque and walk. 

You may cross the road using under pass towards sea corniche side. The entry is free and park is open for 24 hours. Parking is paid as per normal time and rate of abu dhabi.

FORMAL PARK 

Another free park very next to  Lake Park is  Formal Park, that is also one of good and free barbecue places in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Along the Corniche.

The kids can enjoy and play the maze inside the park. running track , exercise stations are also there. and of course the barbeque stations. All these you got as Free of cost and its open for 24 hours near Corniche area

 FAMILY PARK

This is one more  free public spots for a barbecue in Abu Dhabi’s Corniche Road. almost 2 block from one corner to another corner .

It does not have only dedicate barbeque stations but also kids can ride there bikes , skateboards also play basketball in the court. You can rent bikes from the park 

 Entry is free park is not so big and barbeque stations are dedicated

 YAS GATEWAY 

If you are staying other side of city like Khalifa city, Mohammad Bin zyed city , Reef Area etc. these park is good and near to your 

The  Yas Gateway Park. Divided into two sides which are North and South, Very big and wide area along with BBQ spots inside. Both sections of the park are covered with green spaces, Nice and good dedicated play areas for kids.

 The entry is free. The park is  its inside the Yas Island area.

 HERITAGE PARK 

Heritage Park is one of the most popular public BBQ places in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. It has almost  everything in one place. Paved pathways, scenic green landscaping, fountains, kids activities  and barbeque pits .  The adults can grill away at the dedicated barbeque places and kids can enjoy playing on the slides or swings in the  play areas.

A Free entry park open for 24 hours near Sheikh Khalifa Highway, Yas Island

Please do not forget to take you mask and other things necessary due to covid-19 and check and call to the park admin before going there. there might be temporary closure due to current situation. Public gathering are not allowed yet from abu dhabi government. So just go with your own family.

Keep the area clean and take out the trash and dump it on dedicate places or you may got fine.
